EXTRA! EXTRA! First Lutheran Family Camp is scheduled for August 7, 8, and 9th at Valley Camp Retreat Center near North Bend Washington

We have the lower meadow camping area reserved for us. This area has two covered picnic shelters, our own fire ring, tent pads in the woods, a nice grassy area and a creek nearby.

There is also parking for two or three short RV camping units that can dry camp. Full service RV units are available too, but in another area of the camp.

If you aren’t up for roughing it there is a very nice cabin and a yurt style unit available at this time, but reservations for these are on a first come, first served basis. So, don’t wait too long!

Day visitors are welcome too.

Costs for camping is very reasonable and outlined in the camp brochure. Each family group will be responsible for their camping fees, but reservations will be made via the church. Copies of the camp’s brochure are available in the church office and enthusiastic information beyond the brochure is available from John Elling.

This will be a wonderful way for everyone to rest and relax together, have some fun with friends old and new before school schedules fill the calendar.
